CUDA panel
Better late than never, the new GPU Caps Viewer is available. This new version is up to date with the latest video cards such as NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 and GTX 275 or ATI Radeon HD 4890. The main new thing of version 1.7.0 is the NVIDIA CUDA panel that shows all important features of a CUDA-capable graphics card (GeForce 8 and higher) like the Compute Capability.
UPDATE (2010.01.19)

GPU Caps Viewer is a tiny graphics card utility for Windows. It quickly describes the essential capabilities of your graphics card including GPU type, amount of VRAM, GPU temperature, OpenGL API support level, OpenGL API extensions database, NVIDIA CUDA support level. GPU Caps Viewer uses the ZoomGPU engine to retrieve graphics card information.

Yes the page you see on /downloads/ is normal. One day I will update it with the list of all downloads available on Geeks3D.com.

hmmm as much as i love the new version i only have one little beef i use a stream cappable video card not cootie oh um sorry ment to say cuda cappable one would have been neat to auto detect stream or cuda and show an appropriate page but other than that great work lets keep the updates comming and thanks again JeGX
funny it shows win7 6.1.7057 as windows server 2007 and it still says glsl 2.1 not 3
2x Asus EAH2600XT 256MB ddr4 pci-e x16@ x16
catalyst 9.4 vista/win7 32bit
windows7 x86 32bit
gpucaps 1.6.2 : OpenGL Version: 2.1.8577
– GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language) Version: 1.20
gpucaps 1.70 : OpenGL Version: 2.1.8577
– GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language) Version: 1.20
err am i missing something do i need to rip out a copy of OpenGL.dll from vista to get it to show gl3.0
well borrowing a copy of opengl.dll from vista SP1 didn’t make a difference
Aaron, for the next two or three weeks, I won’t be able to test my apps with a radeon. I will check the OpenGL 2/3 pb asap. Try to launch GPU Caps in command line with the gl30 param:
>GpuCapsViewer.exe /gl30
Let me know.
Will look at the ATI stream SDK to see what can be added to GPU Caps Viewer…

JeGX i did as you bid and started gpucaps 1.70 with the gl30 switch it does show opengl 3.0 in the gpu/cpu page and shows opengl 3.0.8577 but still only shows GLSL 1.2 on the opengl page meh i’d say its not gpucaps but ATI lacking in an glsl 1.3 icd
